SHOCK ABSORBERS

MORE FASTER ! MORE STABLE AND RELIABLE!
MORE PROFESSIONALLY COMPETENT !

What are the shock absorbers?

Shock absorber (also known as damper, shock absorber) is a device used to suppress the vibration when the spring rebounds after absorbing shock and the impact from the road. Its main function is to convert kinetic energy into heat energy and dissipate it, thereby reducing the vibration amplitude and improving stability and comfort.

The types of shock absorber

  • Twin-tube shock absorbers

Simple structure and low cost, but poor thermal performance

  • Monotube shock absorber

Good heat dissipation and fast response, but high price

  • Air shock absorber

Adjust height or hardness by inflating

  • Electromagnetic/adaptive shock absorbers

Real-time adjustable damping

Symptoms of shock absorber failure and need to be replaced

  • The vehicle’s bumps intensify, and there is a noticeable “bounce” when passing over speed bumps.
  • The vehicle body is unstable when braking or turning (such as severe forward or side tilt)
  • Oil leakage (oil stains on the shock absorber cylinder) or abnormal noise.
